Sutla Flawless Products
Will make a review of the face and body bleach and body lotion separately.

Sutla is a local brand of bath and skin care products that have been around since the early 90’s. It seemed to have laid low the past couple of years but it was never gone, and when I chanced upon an online store that sold Sutla products, I was quick to check it out.

I have super sensitive skin which is why I am very choosy when it comes to skin care products because I break out easily, I do my research very meticulously before trying anything out. I’ve gotten to know my skin so well so I know what works best and not at all for me.

I’ve gotten different kinds of Flawless products from Sutla a few weeks back because I wanted to find the right one that will suit my skin’s needs.

If you’ve been following me for quite sometime now, then you know about my struggle with break outs and my quest to flawless skin. If you’re new here, let me break it down for you — As a teen I didn’t have any skin problems, I didn’t even have to wash my face and pimples stayed away. Then I grew up and had kids and when I had my son, that’s when the breakouts started and wreaked havoc upon my flawless face. I run around looking for the best skin care line, and believe me when I say I’ve tried everything that’s out in the market. From inexpensive ones to really expensive ones, from the unknown brands to popular brands. Everything that’s available out there, I’ve tried, it’s not an exaggeration. Fast forward to now, my son is 6 years old and my skin is literally just getting better. Like seriously. So anyway, I tried to learn how to apply make up to cover up my flaws, but that only made my breakouts worse, and then I visited a dermatologist, finally, and figured out I was allergic to most make up.

So, let’s get on with it. I used the products exclusively for a week to see if there are any improvements or changes on my skin.

Sutla Flawless Noni Mangostees SoapI wish I’ve known about the Noni Mangosteen soap back when I had break outs, it could have saved me a lot of money. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacteria properties that will surely keep pimples at bay.

WHY I LIKED IT:

  • It has a subtle smell, which I like, no sneezing fits from the smell.
  • It did dry up a pimple in less than 2 days and by the 3rd day, the pimple was completely dry.

WHAT I DON’T LIKE ABOUT IT:

  • It stained my loofah. It totally turned my loofah from pink to purple.

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN:

  • Definitely! I’ve not had a single pimple the whole month of April while I was testing the Sutla Flawless Products, so it means it definitely works at keeping the pimples away, and a pimple free face is a flawless face.

Sutla Flawless Papaya Soap

I was a bit apprehensive with using the Papaya soap because I’ve been teased about being too white, I know, silly, but there is such a thing apparently, but I tried it, and as far as lightening my skin, I don’t think I can get any whiter than I already am, but it did lighten the dark spots on my face caused by my pimple marks.

WHY I LIKED IT:

  • It has Vitamin A and E.
  • It made my pimple marks fade quicker.
  • It kept pimples at bay.
  • It has a subtle smell, no sneezing fits.

WHAT I DON’T LIKE ABOUT IT:

  • Again with the staining of the loofah. Haha! But other than that, no other reasons to dislike it.

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN:

  • Yes. This is my favorite out of all the 3 Flawless soaps I got, I love this one the best. It lightened my pimple marks significantly, like seriously, visible results in a week. As for its whitening properties, I’m already fair skinned anyway, so I don’t think I can be any whiter than I already am.

Sutla Flawless Guava Soap

I think Guava and I are not a good match, although I did like that it came in pink, but I think this one was too harsh for my skin because my skin gets itchy and red after I use this, so after 2 days, I stopped using it because it obviously was not made for me. Although, if guava is okay for your skin, this one has anti-bacterial properties that helps with keeping pimples at bay and it also has whitening properties that will lighten those stubborn pimple marks.

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:

  • It’s in Pink. Come on, pink soap? I was sold.
  • It has a subtle smell. No sneezing fits from this as well.
  • Out of all 3 Sutla soaps, this one was the only one that did not stain my loofah.

WHAT I DON’T LIKE ABOUT IT:

  • Guava hates me.

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN:

  • I would, but Guava hates me, so I guess not.

Sutla also has a line of soaps especially formulated for kids, tweens and teens. I love the Blueberry Lemon soap but my kids were both crazy about the Strawberry Lemon soap.

Sutla Blueberry Lemon Kiddie Teen Soap

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:

  • Both smelled so good!
  • It keeps body odor away, I have a sporty tween daughter and I don’t let her use deodorants because it can darken the armpits, and I don’t want that for her, so once a week we treat her pits to a calamansi cleanse of sorts, another post for another time, to keep body odor away and to keep her pits as fair as possible, but thanks to this one, she can also keep body odor at bay on a daily basis without her smelling like a manly man on a hot day.
  • It did not stain my loofah.

Sutla Strawberry Lemon Kiddie Teen Soap

WHAT I DON’T LIKE ABOUT IT:

  • It becomes crumbly after a few days of using it, I guess it also has something to do with it being a bit soaked in water because the soap dish wasn’t properly drained, but even so, I think the jelly squares thing inside the soap was meant to separate once you get through to that layer of the soap.

Sutla Collagen With Multi Fruit SoapI use this for my face and neck when I wake up and before I go to bed instead of a facial wash, so my daily facial regimen begins with this one now instead of a facial wash and it’s actually quite effective, I feel that my skin is moisturized after I wash it, sometimes I skip putting on a moisturizer, especially in the morning.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT:

  • The way it makes my skin feel so clean and moisturized right after washing.
  • The subtle smell that says, “your face is clean”.
  • It says that it prevents premature aging and keeps wrinkles and fine lines at bay, well, I guess it works, because I have no wrinkles or fine lines yet.

WHAT I DON’T LIKE ABOUT IT:

  • It’s hard to get out of the pack, like you need serious muscle, or at least a good pair of scissors.

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN:

  • Absolutely! I don’t want to get wrinkles or fine lines on my face just yet, and I don’t like putting a lot of things on my face, and this one works as a cleanser and moisturizer, so it’s more cost effective.

Check out Sutla Products over at Papaya Republic. :)
